Re: Ownership Review | 2022 Yamaha Aerox 155 | Racing Blue

Hi all, I am facing the dreaded battery drain issue, Ihave changed the battery and as advised by service centre changed 2 relay but the issue still persist. I have read because of BT module but some say the BT module turns off when the key is off. Could someone please help me on how to fix it. Its been more than 25 days now. I am unable to use the bike.

Re: Ownership Review | 2022 Yamaha Aerox 155 | Racing Blue

Hello everyone.

Finally completed an year of fuss free and must say, quite enjoyable ownership of Aerox.

However, couple of weeks before I completed one year, I went to get the mandatory emission certificate or PUC for the bike. Much to my surprise, the few emission centers I visited did not find Aerox listed in the application they use to perform the test. This is in RT Nagar area of Bangalore

Now, the guy over there did hand me an 'ALL OK' emission certificate but the model listed is incorrect as he randomly chose some 125cc bike from Yamaha drop down in the application. I am quite sure this is a 'jugaad' and is not legal.

Does anyone from Bangalore know where can I get the proper PUC done for my Aerox?

Thanks & cheers !

Sorry, I did not understand this statement. Did you change any relay? Then you replaced the battery, but it is still draining out? Is that it

What did they charge for the battery? Mine was expensive as it was imported. Wonder why they changed relay, though?

I completed 1 year of ownership of Aerox155 couple of months back, she hasn't been used much, 1000K in a year. Changed the battery last week, opted for Amaron which is slightly taller than the one provided, but manageable.

I got exide battery with the same specs as original one as there was no stock. Paid 1650rs. As the new battery was also getting drained they changed the relay but still the issue is not fixed. Not sure what to do now. Even service center is not able to figure out what the issue is

Is there any accessory fixed to the Aerox, (For eg - like fog lamps?). If not, then something is defective. I trust the Yamaha dealership on ring road, Chandan - Bangalore South for service

Is the EXIDE amperage a perfect match on the new battery? Try the imported once, they will have one stand-by. The reason I got the imported one is because they said the Indian ones are not the right ones, yet. This was in march

Did you try disconnecting the communications module? Solved the battery drain issue for me.

Purchased few goodies from our HYPERTOURER, mainly with the intention of procuring the GPS/Mobile phone mount.

Mount will be installed in a couple of days - as the bolts for the mirror mount were not in the package. Awaiting re-shipment. Meanwhile, got a nice little keyfob cover and fuel tank cap cover installed.
