New Delhi-based EV start-up, Komaki Electric revealed its new product, Komaki Ranger electric cruiser, ahead of its market launch next week. However, the Komaki Ranger is not an ordinary electric two-wheeler, as it claims to be the first electric cruiser to be introduced in India. The Komaki Ranger electric cruiser will come with a claimed travel range between 180km-220km on a single charge, which would make it the first electric two-wheeler to offer such a long-range. Apart from its conventional design, Komaki promises a plethora of features to make it a rather compelling package.

Thanks for the pictures. Glad we did not need to wait for the official release of pictures from other angles.

Re: Komaki Ranger electric cruiser bike revealed ahead of launch

Just my take and apologies if this post hurts anyone in the forum that's surely not the intent !

For the safety of all potential buyers all fledging EV manufacturers should need to showcase their ability to design and develop these vehicles in-line with the customer requirements and only then be authorised to collect money - A few so called "EV" manufacturers are just getting "alibaba" stuff and making tall promises - if customer were to put their hard-earned money in that I guess its money down the drain !

Some tracking is a must in some form or the other - While saying this I completely support home grown technology and entrepreneurs in their development stages - They have to be supported and in the process of development they might use certain components which is absolutely fine , indigenisation can happen once he product is fairly done. If these kind of companies put their money behind our entrepreneurs I truly believe we will have world class products - This is like a damn shortcut !

To allow all and sundry import some thing straight, make super tall claims and obtain permission and leaving the customer high and dry later is a sure "no go" -

Off topic - Their website models state they have a "Emergency Repair Switch" ! I wonder what that is ?
