Rather than Alloys, for an ADV, the best would be to get hold of spoked wheels that can handle tubeless tyres.

Upcoming few months are going to be a treat for Indian biking community. My suggestion will be to wait, test all these upcoming bikes, and then decide. For majority of the people, buyer’s remorse is a reality. Imagine buying a brand new Himmy410, and just within 4-5 months, listening to all the praise about 450/400X. If you have the time, then waiting is a wise decision.

Also, keep the expectations about upcoming bikes in check. Don’t expect the new 450 to weight 175kgs with tubeless alloy rims, or 400x to be a proper off-roader with hundreds of gizmos on board.

- The chassis is going to have a split cradle frame. The rear sub assembly will be separate. And its a really good chassis!
- Expect 2 power modes and an ABS switch.
- Everyone worrying about weight, need not worry
- Its got a smashing engine.
- Best of all, a special Raid Edition will follow.

In the second photo the headlight seems to be a straight lift from Super Meteor 650, if it's the same unit we need to install a set of auxiliary lights from day one. I ride a SM650 & the headlight though looks good n cool has woeful throw & illumination. In my SM640 I have installed a pair of Maddog Alpha.

The Tiger tank is wonderful to hold between leg when doing stand up riding so I think it's good they got inspired from something which is proven liked by lot of Riders. Overall the bike looks purposeful.

Pics can be misleading. I have seen the proto up close and seen quite a number of these being ridden on the roads here in Chennai. It's quite a sizeable motorcycle in person. It's larger in almost every dimension than the current gen Himmy 411. Looks very purposeful and focused.

To me, the motorcycle looks quite purposeful. But somehow these pictures makes the motorcycle look odd from certain angles. Makes me wonder are these leaks done intentionally by manufacturers to spice up the online chatter before a launch
Anyways I am going to have a tough time choosing between this and the Triumph scrambler 400x that i have booked.
