Nice to see this thread. Here's my 2-wheeled history
1. LML Trendy (1998-2000)- Yes my family actually bought one and this the scooter that popped the motorised two wheeler cherry at a tender age of 14.
2. Bajaj Sunny Spice (2000-2006) - Time for an upgrade from the Trendy days. Absolutely loved this scooter for it's looks and performance. Served me and my family well for 6 years.
3. LML Adreno (2001-2012)- Yes it's an LML again that introduced me to the world of geared two wheelers. My first real bike; and if I'm not wrong the first that came with electric start and disc brake too and a 3 valve head. My trusty steed during most of my college days. Dad loved this bike so much it ran trouble free till the end. However due to spares and LML shutting shop pretty much in most of India, we let it go with a heavy heart.
4. RE Thunderbird 350 (50th anniversary edition) (2006-2010)- Towards the middle of college life, time came to move on to something bigger and more powerful. This bike thought me a lot about the mechanisms of a motorcycle and their maintenance. Had a good time even modifying the bars and even playing around with different carbs. Although bulls were and are notorious for their maintenance, I found them to be quite reliable, though not very pocket friendly. Still managed with my student allowance and later my first job. Managed to go on most road trips on this ride. Will always remember this bike as it was very special and close to my heart. Sadly this had to go for I went abroad in 2010.
5. TVS Apache RTR160 (2008-2008) - Very short lived stint with this bike. My whole family - Dad, Brother, Sister - rides so I was quite blown away by the performance of this machine. We got it for my younger brother but this had more maintenance issues than the Tbird. And we let it go within 6 months and vouched to stay from TVS. Never stepped into a TVS showroom after this brief ownership.
6. Yamaha FZ-16 (2009-2012) - This bike was an absolute gem. Loved using it whenever I didn't feel like taking out the Tbird. Younger brother loved it too and learnt his riding on this bike. Lucky bloke

However as I was away in the states, the bike really didn't get the TLC it deserved. Though it didn't require a lot still the neglect was getting to the bike. And because of a nagging tyre issue, dad decided to sell it off.
7. Kawasaki Ninja 250R (2010 - current) - The reason my father decided to sell off all the other bikes to get this when I was away in the states

Don't ride it much, but this bike is what a 250cc sports bike should be. We plan on keeping this for a long long time. It doesn't get much action these days, but it's a keeper.
8. KTM Duke 200 (pre-worshipped 2013-current) – Back from an unsuccessful stint in the states. Bruised and battered (I’m talking about myself). Being away from riding and learning the harsh realities of life’s struggles just took a toll. Had quite a good sum saved up and the first thing I did after returning, get a bike. The first time I rode this bike I absolutely fell in love with this. It awakened a spirit in me that I thought I never had. Was lucky to get one which had done only 2k kms for a steal. Another USA prospect was going abroad in my extended friend circle and he just wanted to get rid of it. I also remember he mentioned to me “Dude this bike will scare the pants off you!”

Loved it but my wife later hated it. Now being used by my brother after he decided to get back to biking for commuting in the city atleast due to the horrible traffic in Chennai these days.
9. RE Thunderbird 350 (2013 Editiion - pre-worshipped 2014 - current): Dad decided he wanted a Bullet and loved the new Thunderbird 350 when it came. Luckily another states prospect was willing to get rid of his for going aborad and my dad sweeped in and picked it. Again haven't ridden it much. It's a fine tourer, Dad and sis loved it more. So they ride it now.
10. Yamaha FZ25 (2018-current) - My absolute pride and joy. Have been saving up for a ride since 2016 since the wifey absolutely hated going pillion on the Duke. And I don't blame her either. Something was not clicking, maybe it's maturity (growing older

) but decided it was time to move on. Was eagerly waiting for the BMW G310R to launch in 2017 and was ready to get my own first new bike. The strongest contender was the Dominar then; as BMW kept flip-flopping about launch. However after back to back to rides between the Dominar and Yamaha solo and pillion, the Yammie won by a narrow margin. Will be starting an ownership thread soon.
