Hope that this isn't just a new paint scheme lol:
That literally was for the new NS125.

I really like the new design. That single projector headlamp and those DRLs:Cheering:
Those DRLs remind me of the Mclaren P1's headlights.rl:
Jokes apart, on the whole the bike looks nice. Apparently, the 250F shares its alloys with the NS series.
I liked the earlier Pulsar 220f front end more than this one. :disappointed
But the rear end looks good. If along with the mono shock absorber, it got amalgamated with P220 front with some tweaks, that would have been better.

Looks an improved AS200 to me, which is a pleasing design in itself. That KTM derived 250cc is an able perfomer and is a perfect successor to the P220F.

As per reports this is not a KTM derived engine but a new one from Bajaj themselves.
This definitely looks like an extension of the erstwhile AS series bikes from Bajaj.
One thing I liked about the Pulsar series (Other than NS) was their ability to carry 2 ppl in relative comfort. This one looks like an NS + AS derived styling with a slightly compromised seating for the pillion.
The pillion seat looks really high, similar to the superbikes. The pillion will have a tough time on this one. Comfortable pillion seating was one big plus in the Pulsar series.
Ergonomically, both bikes are identical. Handle height, footpegs, stance. All differences between the faired and naked bike are cosmetic.
Engine casing of these 2 bikes looks reminiscent to KTM cousins. If it is indeed the same motor with a minor change to the head or something, I’d be disappointed. I understand the technology KTM is far better than what Bajaj has. But, the erstwhile engines the Pulsars had good grunt, offered comparatively better refinement over KTMs. Not really a fan of their refinement. Hope the bike is a worthy upgrade over the older engines.
As per the source, Bajaj all set to launch Pulsar 250 twins on October 28th.
