True; they should have got back switchable ABS as well, on the GS at least. The 40th Anniv edition was 2.96 lakhs (6k extra); are all colour schemes now at 2.9 lakhs or is some "special". The 40th Anniv paint scheme at least looks gorgeous.

Re: 2022 BMW G 310 R & G 310 GS revealed

Went to BMW Motorrad Kolkata today to check the G310R.

Upon requesting a test drive, SA says that the motorcycle is in the service center due to some issue with the throttle!
Fine, so when can I get a test ride? Not sure sir

I don't get why these folks are so arrogant! Why would they expect me to put 3L INR without a test ride, because of the brand?

Re: 2022 BMW G 310 R & G 310 GS revealed

There is a recall for the throttle sensor issued by BMW.

When I tried to start my bike today, the CEL was on and on starting the engine, it was in limp mode. Called my SA and then he mentioned that this is due to a bad throttle sensor and that there is a service bulletin already in effect for the throttle sensor.

Why BMW and/or the dealer didn't proactively customers is anybody's guess.

EDIT: This applies only to the BS6 models (since pre-BS6 aren't run-by-wire)

The Showroom just called for replacement, looks like they have started to reach out to customers. But still no website or intimation for the issue. I have seen videos on YouTube dating back to April 2022 for the same issue.

The bike has too many problems:
- Throttle issue
- Coolant leak issue
- Rusts a lot(brake rotors, exhaust header bolts, etc)
- Weak battery
- Vibrates like crazy.

Is BMW even maintaining QC at the TVS plant!
