Gorement has discouraged the manufacture of dirt bikes to avoid monkey business done on two wheelers. One of the pains of riding on pavements is that we become like beached whales while getting down from pavements. Lack of ground clearance of commuter bike causes it to get stuck on step. The Honda Bros could easily climb over fallen trees, as the Brazilian farmer took his chickens to market.

Now madness reigns, as we see Xpulses dismounting pavements with ease. That increased ground clearance is going to lead to many more circus acts that we see trials bikes performing. Wheelies are nothing. You ain't seen the worst yet!

Hope the CRF is launched soon. I guess it might also face some heat once the new Himalayan is launched which as per speculation will be coming with spoked tubeless tyres and a 450cc liquid cooled engine.

There are no sane dreams when it comes to Honda. The Formidable they have launched is single cylinder, SOHC 300F. It’s formidable to the buyers.

Haha...300R....300F....the latter being cheaper than their premium product. The 300R was a sales dud to begin with. Instead of a price correction to the former, they have launched a new product which looks like a bloated Hornet.

Not a Honda fanboy, but I was expecting at least a Forza 150 , what with all the "Formidable" branding. Honda has taken 'mediocre' to a whole new level!

I'm far from a Honda fanboy as well, but honestly, now I'm wondering if the CB300R is indeed terribly overpriced or if it's actually got the specs and equipment to demand the price.

Wish someone would do an ultra-detailed and knowledgeable comparison (not just a surface-level looksee) with the CB and the Duke 390 so we can get to the bottom of it.

On a serious note though, Forza 150 would have been the best choice. With Aerox155 out now, an equally good substitute is required.
