Just down the road from my place they gather every September for the last meet of the season. Hundreds turn up with their 2,5 HP mopeds with a top speed of 45 km/hour. There are all sorts of brands and most of them dont exist anymore.

The oldest one I saw was from the 40s

This is the end of the meet and they are riding on a trip of about 50 km before parking them for the winter. .

I saw these mopeds and motorcycles, mostly of Eastern European origin along a highway in Romania. I tried to get in touch with the owner but was kept away by 2 angry Carpathian sheep dogs.
Last time I was there, there were even more bikes. He takes them in in the winter. It has become a tourist attraction. There are about 70 or 80 bikes there now.
