Bought a new motorcycle | Registered it myself without an agent

14% road tax on the ex showroom price. 9+5.

Rest about 400 rs for smart card, service fee, postal etc.

Showroom will charge little more than that for TR, etc. Totally i paid what the showroom asked for registration plus rs. 10,200 for 5%.

2+ months, 2K Km done, thought would share some first impressions with the D400.

Vibrations: Bike has significant vibrations in the 3-4K rpm range. In the initial days, it was impossible to ride the bike long (especially in the city) without hands and feet going numb.

However, after about 1.5K KM, i think the engine is opening up. Or maybe, i'm getting used to the right gear positions.

The bike now seems more comfortable in 90-100 kmph high way runs. This also give the best mileage of 32kmpl.

Shopping for accessories is a lot of fun Work in progress.

Love the instrument console and all the information it provides.

Sharing some monsoon short ride pics of beautiful green landscapes 100--200km around Hyderabad (Not much of a social media guy, so sharing here)
