VERY neatly done.

The front end with the beefy shock legs, nicely integrated fenders, and the yummy tubeless spoked rims stand out.

Not a great fan of the headlight dome and ugly fly screen of the original so disappointed that they did not give their own touch there too.

Cheers, Doc

Re: Hanway G30! Chinese copy the Royal Enfield Himalayan

I really wonder who are the target clientele for these bikes. The domestic Chinese market for motorcycles is miniscule.

Major Chinese cities ban motorcycles on city streets. The expressways do not allow motorcycle riding. There are some exemptions for big cc bikes, but in general, the Chinese government has a very dim view of motorcycles in general, blaming bikers and bikes for the majority of traffic accidents.

I am guessing these copycat clones are being built specifically for export to Africa or South America (I hope they don't come to India).

Yes China is an export factory but to be sure they have a substantial motorcycle market as they did 17 million sales in 2021. In cities yes motorcycles are less rare but in rural China they do sell a good amount of them. Though yes they export these motorcycles to far flung places like Africa, Pakistan and others. Even USA gets many of these copy cat motorcycles because the USA has pretty relaxed emission norm compliance.
