Re: Jawa 42 vs Honda Hness CB350

Got my Silencer and Shocks changed for free. New silencer do get a more bassy exhaust note. Kind of like it. As for shocks, they were always replaced in any bikes under warranty. Don't know how, but Jawa initially seemed to have had high confidence on the quality of materials used to produce the bike/sourced high quality parts.
And I agree to a great extent, it's one of the first to give a 6 speed gearbox, low Centre of Gravity stability, great nimble handling, and of course far less vibrations when in 2019, all we had was the usual RE thumper engine.
In terms of reliability, I feel Jawa engines are no inferior to REs. Given REs have been here along time with their same ICE having minor variations (pre-Bs6 and J engine era), they have had sorted out all issues. Plus the widest coverage. Jawa needs to improve its after sales support, else it would again become a lost legacy!
