The bike looks HOT. Must give credit to them for bringing out such a great look from the same bike. Should sell amongst the look conscious customer base.

Alloys kind of take away the classic looks this motorcyle was originally aiming for. Though the blacked out theme is working really well on white colored bike.

A friend's friend got his 42 modified to look something like this. I like this better.

As PraNeel said, and I reiterate, Jawa seem to have dialled up this beauty's hotness several notches! I was a fan of this bike when it launched and loved it far more than the classic Jawa. Simple things like the alloys, different colours and a more blacked out theme have made the 42 almost droolworthy; not to forget the tiny windshield. Wish they'd done something about the speedo unit though.

What stops Classic Legends from using the much powerful 334cc engine of Perak in Jawa also? Is it to have Unique configuration for Perak alone? Could we expect in this version to have an option of 334cc variant?

The updated Jawa Forty Two has been launched at Rs 1.84 lakh (ex-showroom, India.) New Jawa Forty Two gets alloy wheels, blacked out theme. Costs more than the standard model and Refined engine makes 0.8hp more.

The updated model is not a replacement for the current Jawa Forty Two, and will sell side-by-side Link

2021 model has 3 new colors - White, Black and Red, all matte, and have all black treatment in the exteriors.
These will be sold along with the existing line-up of 6 colors, the good thing is you can have the alloys and tubeless tyres as accessories for the existing lineup.
Launched at 1.84L ex-showroom, an increase of 4K approximately than the existing BS6 lineup and will be available only with Dual Channel ABS configuration.
The Bar end mirrors are standard, while the headlight grille, fly-screen and grab-rails can be added as optional.
There is a minor bump in power output - 0.8 bhp higher than the old engine and the weight is reduced by 1 kg.

No more into motorcycling but is there a word 'bikegasm'? The first pic shared by Venkatesh appears silverish / light grey because of lighting and probably looks the best.

2021 Jawa Forty Two looks hot & will definitely attract more buyers to showrooms.

But what Classic Legends missed is the NAVIGATION feature.

They killed the Jawa name and whatever emotions and expectations that it evoked among the masses. Not sure if anyone will be interested in whatever they do. Is it still the production numbers or people not wanting them anymore ?

The updated model sure looks far superior to the current Forty Two. Though the technical specifications are hardly different, save a very minor bump in power and loss in weight, I wonder why Jawa is selling this alongside the current one. Just trying to get unsold stocks cleared?! That maybe easier now considering the accessories of the updated model can be had by prospective and current owners of the previous Forty Two and Jawa Jawa.

Maybe soon, there might be massive discounts on the current Forty Two to make space for the new updated model? Anyhow, as long as Classic Legends is focused on improving the graceful aging of the bike and smoothening out the fit and finish issues, they have a winner.

The bike looks hot, especially in the black colour. Few days back I was looking at Jawa Perak, and wondering why is there no 42 in grey or black colour. Guess, they read my mind.

This bike wouldn't look out of place in a Mad Max movie, especially with that mean looking grille and fly screen.

More importantly, the bike has alloy wheels and dual trip meters, something that should have been there from the start, apart from a longer and better seat. Now if only classic legends gets its quality issues sorted.
