Let's not unnecessarily indulge in speculation on whether the uncle did or didn't approve of this. It does nothing to help this thread. Thank you!

Yes! This guy is providing first hand experience of CB350. It's to be welcomed as no media reviews are out yet. And test rides are yet to happen.

He has uploaded another video today and seems he's happy about CB350 as a highway cruiser.

I don't understand what the "uncle" debate is about. In neither of the two videos do I see him abusing the bike. He's riding normally. Smoothly. And that "trail" can be ridden by a 100 cc Hero Honda. Or a Kinetic Honda.

Cheets, Doc

P.S. Just saw the third video. This bike should get close to 130.

Nice to see panniers being offered as accessories. That is a great move by Honda.

But why is the side stand an accessory? Does the bike come only with a center stand?

Yeah, even I was of the impression that side stand was standard. Honda is making good money

Here's more on the accessories for the CB350:

  • Side Stand - ₹375
  • Engine Guard - ₹1234
  • Fork Gaiters - ₹581
  • Pannier Support A - ₹643
  • Pannier Support B - ₹697
  • Tank Pad - ₹309
  • Engine Lower Pipe - ₹465
  • Split Seat Kit (Black) - ₹3705
  • Split Seat Kit (Brown) - ₹3705

The pricing seems to be quite reasonable . Only one question remains though - when will the bike ever come to Chennai ?

Accessories price is very reasonable.

Prospective buyers or rather Honda itself should thank this vlogger In the absence of official information, this guy is doing great! Let's hope he does a video on HSVCS too- that's the thing still not understood clearly!

Split seats look very interesting. Fork gaiters will take a notch up on retro look. 'Engine lower pipe'- is this Honda's version of bash plate?

I saw this video. First he pulls on 1st gear without throttle input, slides to 2nd without input & then throttles up & that beast roars to life. This gentleman has sold me on the Highness. All I will need to do are two insurmountable tasks.

1. Convince my mom to let me buy a bike. A few fatal bike accidents of near + dear ones has effectively banned us from buying / riding a two wheeler in our home.
2. Find / dig out my old 2 wheeler license & get it renewed.

As various commentators on that video have mentioned, Abhinav Bhatt will convince more people to get this bike than Honda ever can.

Two things work in his favor as far as I'm concerned.

Unlike most other "local" bike review videos he is not breathless and loud and in love with his own voice, and one gets regularly decent stretches where one actually gets to hear the bike.

And 2, he approaches his opinions like a biker and not like a verbal lister of facts and specs and details which most netizens already aware of and don't want to be bored stiffless with.

Cheers, Doc

Re: The Honda H'ness CB350, priced at Rs. 1.90 lakh (page 6)

This bike has generated interest in me because of twin shocks at the rear, straight seat, heel-toe shifter, air cooled, Honda reliability. Can someone answer my following questions?

1. How this bike will perform on mud shush roads commonly found on Ladakh areas?

2. How this bike compares with Royal Enfield Himalayan?

Thanks in advance.

This YouTuber Abhinav Bhatt has absolutely front-runned everyone. Very useful videos, but unnecessarily long and I guess that is why he is able to put so many of these because he evidently isn't spending any time in editing or post-production.

Abhinav has covered everything we want to know putting most reviewers out of business. I mean what more can we learn really? For once Honda put the consumer first. I thought I'll get my bike real quick and post a review too, (North India got 90% of the Honda bikes already. South has to wait another fortnight) now I'm saved of the trouble

The two most important things I look for in a new bike when it's launched is the size in real life and how it feels when you crack open the throttle.

Everything else is internet gyaan.

Cheers, Doc
