Re: The Honda H'ness CB350, priced at Rs. 1.90 lakh (page 6)

Great move honda. I'd buy this just for the way it looks. Love those classic CB curves.

The splendor association is quite unfortunate me thinks. Not many Indians know what a classic honda looks like but can't blame them as honda never brought their mid to high capacity classic cb range back in the day. May be it was hero's fault and they thought there was no market for those in the 80s or may be Honda learned from Yamaha's mistakes with the rd 350 being a sales flop. Honda is trying hard though, to get out of their aam admi commuter stigma but I guess it's be a while before they could.

Hi, I kind of agree with you. I was surprised to note that no one was acknowledging this. The least Honda could do was to offer the original CB350 and maintain their superior product position and image & not try to cut into a hard grown market by RE in its home turf. The trick looks unprofessional to me.
I own a RE CL500 and am looking to upgrade to a superior motorcycle. I was eagerly awaiting this launch assuming it to be CB above 500cc, but was disappointed.

Received some pictures through whatsapp, looks like the bike is in the local dealership. I might drop in one of these days to check it, if the showroom is not too crowded.

How? It has been out of production since decades!
If you are referring to Honda developing a modern 350cc twin and offering it as the Honda H'Ness CB350 for India then it would be a terrible move for Honda as it would be DOA.

Why not? Business schools also teach us that competition is good for the business, right? If Honda has entered RE territory then I'm assuming that they have done their market research properly. I would pip Honda to take the fight to RE rather than Jawa and Benelli.

Fret not, a made for India higher capacity CB will follow.

Oh boy, that look lands!!

I’m not a big fan of Rebel’s looks and this one is definitely a much better looker for me.

Looks pretty amazing, the specs are not great but decent and the pricing - Honda has done it right this time.

Straight away goes in to my shortlist for my next one.

Not sure if its just me but the side view and especially the tank and graphics make it relatable to the old hero honda cd100!

Currently eyeing the INT650 but if there's a 500-700cc version of this coming up, then i guess it would be worth waiting. However, bit uncertain on the pricing and maintenance costs given its a Honda when compared with RE.
But i love the looks of this, an amazing balance of modern and retro than the Interceptor!

Wow. I took delivery of a Benelli Imperiale 400 in February. This gives me serious doubts, since there is a weight disadvantage of around 25 kilos in addition to some others.

Hi, I agree with you. When I saw the initial pictures of the CB350, I became nostalgic about my RD350 which I owned in the 90's. How I wish Honda had plonked in a much powerful and modern twin engine on this. Hopefully the next CB for India has one.

I thought the Blue with white color in dual tone looks nice compared to others from the pics shared in earlier posts. Wish they had got ribbed seat coz the one provided looks like cheaper 100CC CD Dawn and likes from Hero. Good thing is, it will at least give people an option.

The last elusive colour; Matte Green. This gives it a proper retro look. And that's the 'divisive emblem', many are disliking.

Looks great. If it can cross 80 KMPH without shaking the bejesus out of the rider like the RW 350 classic does, then will sell as well

Add Honda Reliability and we have a winner, our country's illogical consumer choices not withstanding.
