Royal Enfield has silently started offering extended warranty of upto 4 years / 50,000 km on their BS 4 motorcycles. One can extend the standard warranty of 2 years or 30,000 km provided the motorcycle is less than 22 months old - extended warranty can be purchased by the customer upto 60 days prior to the date on which the standard warranty ends. Royal Enfield has been notorious for their quality control issues and this extended 4 year warranty will give peace of mind to a lot of Royal Enfield owners like me!

However, what is not clear is why Royal Enfield has not advertised this nor updated this on their website. I did receive a bill from my ASC, as well as an acknowledgement mail from the company when I purchased my extended warranty.
