This auto-expo had almost a dozen+ companies offering electric scooters & bikes. Almost all of them had similar products with little to differentiate their product offerings. If you were to remove the badging from their scooters/m-cycles and put them together and ask the company officials to identify their model, even the company officials might find it difficult to pick which one is theirs!

Here are some of the interesting stall & their products:

Jitendra

This Nashik based company takes the prize for ensuring the most attention-per-sq-ft of stall space. In a small stall they had showcased 3 vehicles which were pushed to the walls/sides and had an MC that was doing a good job to grab the attention of the crowds. This stall was pure street-smart hustling to showcase their offerings!


This is their flagship bike which is internet enabled and is named Klasoo

The stall MC was drawing crowds by asking the model to rev the bike and then she used to put the mike near the rear wheel and the air nearby used to make a sound as if it is a sports bike! Nifty trick to draw crowds and even our moderator Viddy couldn't resist the temptation to check where the sound is coming from!

This Bhubneshwar Odisha based company is focused in north east of the country and has offerings in e-scooters & e-cycles space.

Reddy Customs

Reddy customs claim to fame is the customization of RV Coaches for Telgu movie stars and are now getting into electric 2 wheeler space.


Their e-scooter looks nice but is still in pre-production stage

Kabira Mobility

Kabira mobility is Goa based with manufacturing both in Goa & Karnataka. They had a plethora of scooters on display and claim to be true Make in India scooters


Their sporty bikes -- rage of 100 odd kms and top speed of 120 kmph

Very much true. All of them looked like a copy-paste job of Chinese components. I don't know, are they even members of SMEV- The SOCIETY OF MANUFACTURERS OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES?

Kabira Mobility is launching the faired, KM 3000, and the naked, KM 4000 next month, and the latter has been spotted in Goa.





Both the motorcycles are electric, and might get:
- 3kW brushless, wheel-mounted hub motor on KM 3000, 4kW on the KM 4000
- 3.44kW lithium-ion battery
- 85km range, 80kmph top speed (claimed)
- USD forks, twin discs
- Fully digital instrument cluster

The KM 4000 could be priced around Rs 1.10 lakh and the KM 3000 around Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom).
