One question did come to my mind, what was their strategy/logic behind the complicated naming for the bikes?
Husqvarna wasn’t enough to pronounce, they named Vitpilen and Svartpilen!!!
Company should start offering discount who ever pronounce it right |
Husqvarna was an old brand, which was acquired by KTM. They bought back Husqvarna famous, most selling models called Vitpilen and Svartpilen, which mean Black Arrow and White Arrow (not sure of the order. ).
These two models were crude. So crude, that they seemed they have no usable suspension. Hence, KTM launched the new models very similar to these bikes old characteristics, but with a change. The change is they used KTM own's existing engines, for cost benefits and serviceability, hence such behavior.
Btw, these bikes are crude and are not fit for daily commute for all, in my opinion. Other than being different, raw & powerful engines with less chassis weight. But they will have their own market share as there is a place for all in this dynamic market. |
