Benelli is launching another motorcycle next year that will again be a 500cc model. It is launching the 502C power cruiser in 2020, which will get the same engine from the recently launched Leoncino.
Yes, the Benelli 502C looks a lot like the XDiavel, which is another but much more powerful power cruiser. The bike will enter our market through the CKD route and will be assembled at the manufacturer’s plant in Hyderabad.
It uses the same 500cc parallel-twin cylinder liquid-cooled engine, that produces 47.5 BHP at 6000 RPM and 46 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM, running on a 6-speed gearbox. The fuel tank capacity is a good 21.5 Litre, which will give a claimed riding range of 550 kms. https://indianautosblog.com/benelli-...report-p318208 https://www.carblogindia.com/benelli...india-by-2020/
Benelli 502C Cruiser teased, will be revealed on July 8th.

The power cruiser evolution would now happen thusly- Dominar 250 -> Dominar 400 -> Benelli 502C -> [a few decades] -> Ducati Diavel
This motorcycle was long awaited. Had it not been for the dissolution of DSK-Benelli, we would have got this beauty in 2018 only.
On a lighter note, to my eyes this looks like a cheaper version of Ducati Diavel. I must say, Chinese OEMs are not shy to look for inspiration. rl:
Really digging the looks of this bike, the Ducati Diavel inspiration is clearly seen.
Benelli's are priced reasonably, eagerly waiting for reviews of this bike.
Looks really good. If they price it well and able to recreate the soundtrack of the erstwhile 600i, they might have a winner in their hands. From the looks, it seems to have a fairly good ground clearance as well
2021 Benelli 502C cruiser to be launched in India tomorrow.
The pre-bookings commenced in India earlier this month on the 8th at a token amount of Rs 10,000.

I had the same feeling, so it is meant for solo riding only.

Even with the Pillion grab handles being mandatory in India, still would be dangerous for the pillion lol:
