Classic Legends has revealed the list of official accessories and merchandise for Jawa bikes.

Jawa owners will be able to purchase accessories such as crash guards, pillion grab rail and backrest, seat spoiler, luggage rack and bar-end mirrors. The prices for the optional accessories are as follows:

Chrome Crash Guard - Rs. 1,599

Matte Black Crash Guard - Rs. 1,499

Matte Seat Spoiler - Rs. 999

Pillion Back Rest - Rs. 999

Pillion Grab Rail - Rs. 749

Raised Pillion Grab Rail - Rs. 399

Luggage Rack - Rs. 599

Bar-end Mirrors - Rs. 1,499





Classic Legends has also launched official Jawa merchandise including helmets, riding jackets, riding gloves and T-shirts.

T-shirts - Rs. 899

The Jawa and Jawa forty two were launched in November 2018. Both retro-styled bikes are powered by a 293cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 27 BHP and 28 Nm of torque and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Exorbitant rates for a sub two lakh machine, to say the least. Classic Legends seems to be assuming that they are a la Harley Davidson to charge whatever amount they want . India not being a non monopolistic market, they are soon to be disillusioned.

Really? The prices seem similar as compared to the direct competition - Royal Enfield Classic 350.

Jawa is just using the extra buffer in pricing and marketing space already established by Royal Enfield. The strategy seems to be really working for them - if only they could just make those vehicles and deliver them on time!
