Spotted! The next-gen Honda Activa 6G

Honda is gearing up for the next gen Activa. The most visible changes are telescopic front suspension and instrument cluster.

Is this the 110 or 125cc version? If 110cc, the biggest change would be disc brakes at front.

I'm going to say that they have not done a good job at camouflaging the test mules. We can clearly see the outlines of the taillight and the headlight.

A telescopic suspension is much welcome though. Finally Honda seems to be coming up to date in suspension technology.

Cheers!

Biggest change is undoubtedly the telescopic suspension. Setup on the old Activa was atleast a decade older than it should have been!

With disc brakes and alloy wheels as well - looks like a worthy update finally for the Activa.

The Activa 125 already have all three (telescopic, disc brakes, alloy wheels); hope Honda brings it on the 110cc version. The 110c is already nearing 65k ish OTR; wonder if these three upgrades will push it up further.

As per the report, it's the same 110cc mill. It's a much needed change in the suspension department.

Guys, did you notice one more thing? The mirrors have been removed! So much for providing Disc brakes as safety features.

Truly appalling since Honda was running a safety campaign not too long ago

Cheers!

Well, the most prominent change here seems to be the "Engine kill switch" as seen in pic no. 2. This was pointed out by someone on car websites.

It's removed in the test mule. Doesn't mean that they are not gonna provide mirrors in the production version . Look closely, the slots are present to screw in the mirrors.

Hope I didn't misunderstand your comment.

re: Spotted! The next-gen Honda Activa 6G

That's the new Aviator, not Activa 6G.

Honda is not so generous to have a telescopic suspension on the Activa. If they can sell lakhs of units easily without having to upgrade from the spring loaded suspension for the past 15+ years, what makes them suddenly make that upgrade?

If it is an Activa, it is definitely the 125, not the 6G or i. Else, as I said, it could be the new Aviator.

Upon a closer look - I feel its the Activa 125. The front end seems to have that big bulky chrome bar - typical of the 125.

re: Spotted! The next-gen Honda Activa 6G

To me, the biggest change and the concern and something that is going unnoticed is the amount of plastic that's slowly making its way into the product!

Remember, the USP for the very first gen Activa was the all metal body! Thats not the case anymore!!

Take a closer look of the Activa 5G thats from 2018 and 2019 model year, half of the front mud guard is plastic! it's not a full metal piece anymore!!

This one seems to be have in a 12 inch front wheel, and I am hoping against hope that the rear is a 12 incher too. I wonder why Honda/Suzuki have a staggered 12 front/10 inch rear tire.

Wow the dashboard is a wallclock in size! Though this looks like an Aviator, I think this will be the updated Activa 125. Not 6g because I don't think Honda will ever change the tyre size or offer telescopic suspension and disc brakes on Activa x-G ever.

Activa costs as much as 74K OTR here. Honda's just great at overpricing their vehicles and estimating too much from it. With these test mules, it seems that Honda is set of doing everything that TVS did rightly with Jupiter. Telescopic forks are a welcome change. Seriously HONDA! 15+ years to give us a set of changed forks. How long till we get kill switches on our bikes? I expect Honda to price the 6G at a high premium when compared to 5G.
