The 2018 Bajaj Discover 110 & 125

Bajaj is set to launch its 2018 Discover range on January 10, 2017. This includes a new 110 cc version of the Discover and an updated Discover 125.

Recent spy images have indicated that the Discover 110 will feature similar styling as the 125 cc version and both bikes will be offered with new design black alloy wheels. Also, Bajaj seems to have swapped the downtube cradle frame for a single downtube frame on both 110 cc and 125 cc versions of the Discover. The telescopic front suspension and dual gas-charged rear shock absorbers have been carried over.

The Discover 110 is expected get a new instrument cluster with both digital and analogue gauges, electric start and handlebar-end weights. Being a budget offering, it is likely to miss out on some features including the front disc brake that may be offered as an option.

The Discover 110 will use a 110 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. While Bajaj hasn't confirmed the specifications of the engine, it is rumoured to produce around 9 BHP and 9 Nm of peak torque. The engine will likely be paired with a 4-speed gearbox. The Discover 110 will compete with the TVS Victor and Hero Passion Pro in the premium commuter segment.

re: The 2018 Bajaj Discover 110 & 125

While the 110 and 125 Discovers are one of the best sellers in the segment, I personally believe it's high time Bajaj gives these two motorcycles a major facelift. Even the HMC Glamour got one recently. The looks have been almost the same since the bike's inception way back in 2003, and while the 150 was launched with a semi fairing, the bike wasn't well recieved and is now discontinued.

The best looking Discover and the most unique I believe was the 125ST, but looks are subjective
