Like I said earlier, a plastic covering for the ignition cylinder would have at least made it look neat. You seem to echo my observations.
I do really like the alloy wheels. Most of the bikes in the market nowadays have hollow hubs to save weight.
The ABS sensor is different just to make it easier to clean. ...competition offers better for lesser price I don't see why I shouldn't be nitpicking. |
Thank you nikhn. Why should i not nitpick? Money does not grow on trees and its not a small amount they are asking for a bike that is simply A2 class material.

If it is the latter, then it is going to be a superb setup. |
As i had suspected, they are not that great. Will explain post this.

I hope so too. Let us see.

Thank you CrAzY dRiVeR. I have been a guest user of TBHP for some years now. I suppose it is time to give something back.

Size 12 shoes are rather rare too. |
Benefit of doubt can be given i suppose. Yes size 12 is rather rare. Still they should have thought of this. My friend wears size 14 what about him?

Yes it is a radiator guard of sorts. Do have a look at the bike in person and you will know why i said "of sorts".

I wonder how heavy those 30 pieces of silver felt when handed over. Heehee.

Yes i agree. I wanted to buy the Duke 390 but the lights were the deal breaker. I travel on average 35km one way on highway roads to places near my city and coming back is invariably at night. The D390 HLs are not enough and i will have to install aux lights. The Dominar ones are better though but i will prefer HID 4300K any day.

It was the red one and it is not a TD vehicle.

Yes. I own 2 RTRs and i would say wait it out for a bit. No first lot.

I hate to throw cold water but the lights are only as good or as bad as you make out. The low beam is good but with sharp cut off and high foreground light, i had difficulty seeing beyond the light spill area which i don't like. The high beam is utterly useless if you ask me.

Low beam.

High beam.

Like i said in my closing words, let a few lots go by. I m speaking from experience of owning 2 RTRs. My EFi was 2nd lot and my 180 is 7th lot. Both are from my favourite place Ashwa TVS in Bangalore.

Good job TVS, but the paramount questions still remains, where is the bike for mango man. |

Perhaps they want the awards first; that way they can go and harp as to how great their bike is to a customer who is patient enough to wait for it.
I was procrastinating and on Youtube i came across a video by someone who had organised a drag race between D250, RTR200, FZ25 and a Bajaj (i forgot which one). The end result? D250 won, followed by FZ25, then Bajaj and lastly RTR200. Why do i get a premonition that the same thing will happen?
I hope those jury blokes have done proper testing and deliberations before reaching to a conclusion. Else my fallback theory of the silver stands.
