Congrats on the bike. Excellent deal indeed. I had similar plans about Sjoba but not sure now due to Covid. Let's see.

How do you plan to mount number plate? Or it stays off? Hope to bump into each other in Aravalis some day.

Thanks! For the number plate:

- Drill a couple holes on the fender and mount the plate directly on it. A couple holes will also need to be drilled on the sides to mount the indicators
- Use a "Patti" to mount the plate on the fender (so it comes a bit off the fender)
- Use a tail tidy kit like this - http://speedlabauto.com/product/tail...or-xpulse-200/
- What I plan to do : Sticker the number on the fender

My way can get some attention from the cops. But since my riding is mostly off road and this solution is "rally approved" (a.k.a - will pass scrutiny); I am Ok with this

Do IM me your number and lets catch up on the trails this weekend. I might be able to coax you into doing SJOBA and maybe even other rallies together

Ride safe!

Custom XPLENDOR 200 sticker then!

That's disappointing. I was hoping a bit less than double that. With the full rally kit on, the shed weight will probably be back again.

What do you intend to do with your impulse?

Hope this helps, from a cost perspective it makes sense to just get the whole kit

Re: Hero teases small adventure bike. EDIT: It's the XPulse 200

Did anyone here try out the BS6 xpulse 200? As per this review the lower end is improved. That's like music to my ears as I did test ride the BS4 & found the lower end lacking. Everything else was great in the bike specially the ride quality on our broken roads. For 1.1L ex-showroom this sure is a solid VFM proposition

Yet to try it but power/ torque are down and weight has gone up, I wouldn't hope too much improvement from that 200 cc.

Sounds like you got it at a really good deal! Congratulations. I would suggest off with the stickers and get the side panels painted the same colour as the tank. That would spruce up the looks quite a bit and give it a meatier look.

Look at that ground clearance.

What is your height for reference?

I think it should be manageable in city with stock seat. One can keep rally spec seat for off road adventures.

Yes. The Rally seat is unforgivably high.

You would probably be one or two inches taller than an average Indian, if you were struggling to get your feet on the ground, I guess majority will struggle too.
