Yes, easy swaps.

Re: New colours for the Royal Enfield Classic in 2017

So I finally bit the bullet and booked the gun grey classic 350 yesterday. It has a two month waiting period which is ok (I guess). I must say that I had my eyes on the green redditch but the rear disc was more important to me.
The Gun grey 350 looks more impressive when you actually see it but the Stealth black looks better in pics. I did consider opting for the black but I'd probably spend more time cleaning and detailing it than actually riding the bike.

The gun metal grey looks better and I hoped the 500 would also come in grey. Is it better to wait for the abs version early next year?

.
I thought the rear disc was an addition across all Classic variants and only a new color was offered! Didnt know it was being offered only on two colours.
What , pray, was RE thinking ?

My thoughts, exactly. They make it seem like transplanting the swingarm and disc from the TB is a major engineering job. Perhaps I should hold on to my booking for a bit in the hope of getting the rear disc on a Redditch colour.

Once you've decided on a RE, logic has already gone out of the window so poppins, gems... who cares? May as well choose a colour that tells the world you have transcended the boundaries of reality.
