Matt black also looks cool...I wish foot board would have been little broader and longer.

And what do you mean by waterproof speakers? You want to listen to music while driving? I always thought it is not effective in a 2 wheeler.

Speakers that you can listen to music while riding. its officially sold in models like the goldwing

Yes there is space for the speakers. On the mirror base. But will have to look for a place to house the usb module.

I've booked via PAYTM and received a confirmation email from Aprilia India saying they'll get in touch soon. No mention of the expected delivery date though. Email only talks about the Race Day on Aug 22. No idea what it means!

Love the matt black color! The design is eye catching, yet I feel its minimal as it looks sleek in size.

I booked on Aug 14th, around 5 PM. Just observed on my Paytm order details that it says "Delivered on: 15-18 Sep". Order status is showing Confirmed. So yet to receive the cashback.

Below is the email I received from Aprilia India (apriliaindia@piaggio.co.in) on Aug 15th, around 10 PM.

Same here. I also booked on 14th August and received this mail. 22nd August seems to be the official launch day whereas deliveries to start around mid September. My 'deliver by' date too is 15~18 September.

Lets see what exactly they do on 22nd.

I received a call from Vespa showroom a few minutes back. He was calling from Falcon Mobikes Pvt. Ltd., Banashankari 3rd stage and mentioned that my booking done via Paytm is allotted to them since it's the nearest showroom to my residence.

He also said the display bike is expected soon and after August 22nd launch, I can call him and schedule a test drive during their working hours.

I received the call from Navin associates. They mentioned that they may have 2-3 bikes for viewing next week. The delivery date they said can take 45-60 days.
Then I got a call from Aprilia (Pune number) confirming my booking. They mentioned a delivery date as 2nd half of September.

I've got similar launch time frame from a local dealer here in Hyderbad. They said they'll have the scooters in the showroom for sales and test drives before the 25th of Aug. ₹. 75,000 approx. will be the OTR along with accessories like side mirrors, side stand, steel frame, mats, etc.

Forget the marketing gimmick by Paytm. If youll want your scooters fast go to the nearest showroom and book your scooter there.
You will get an idea as to how many booking have been done. More so what number you are in the line of bookings.
I guess walkin's were given first priority.
