Vardenchi launches DIY customization kits for Royal Enfields

Vardenchi is now offering do it yourself (DIY) customization kits and accessories, which are a part of the brand's new "Type I" series. The kits will enable interested buyers to choose from a large number of parts, finishes, paint shades, graphic themes, leathers and stitches to create a personalized design.

The accessories and kits come with fitment guidelines and instructional videos to help buyers along the DIY process. The parts can also be fit by a local mechanic. Additionally, there is a helpline manned by a tech support team who can offer step by step instructions to the mechanic, walking him through the fitment process.

Vardenchi says the parts can be bolted on i.e. they fit into the original brackets and fitments of the bike and require no drilling / welding etc.

The parts in a kit include:
- Front mudguard
- Rear mudguard
- Side panels (RHS + LHS)
- Riser handle bar assembly
- Headlamp assembly
- Speedometer casing - single pod
- Ignition key casing- single aluminium cast pod
- Ampere meter / low fuel meter casing - single aluminium cast pod
- Front LED aluminium indicators.
- Rear LED triple function aluminium indicators (tail lamp, brake lamp and indicators in one circuit)
- Semi free flow exhaust with heat shield and ornamental
- "Machine gun" end cap
- Front number plate casing - aluminium with inset acrylic number plate
- Rear number plate casing - aluminium with inset acrylic number plate
- Comfort split seats with choice of upholstery colour
- Vintage grab rail for pillion seat
- All LED vintage tail lamp assembly
- All accessories surface treated in satin black finish powder coat
- Stylized paint scheme to choose from (over 100 options available)
- Graphics - vintage, vintage sports, 70's hot rod
- Racing number plates - double up as carburettor covers
- Choice of special number or initials on racing number plate
- Tank element for Electra, Bullet and Classic RE models.
The components above are added on to the motorcycle at a price of Rs. 73,125/-.


Accessories at an additional cost (Apart from the parts mentioned above):
- Front and rear alloys - available in matte black / silver / gold with machined finishes - Rs. 9,000/-
- Front tyre (Pirelli 100 X 90mm 19") - Rs. 12,182/-
- Rear Tyre (Pirelli 130 X 70mm 18") - Rs. 13,226/-
- All LED handle bar turn indicators - Rs. 4,500/-
- Side mounted rear number late with LED tail lamp - Rs. 2,400/-
- Entire accessories set surface treated in chrome finish - Rs. 9,000/-
- Engine repaint in satin black - Rs. 3,000/-
- Engine polish - Rs. 3,000/-
- Chassis repaint in black - Rs. 3,500/-
- Front forks repaint in black Rs. 2,500/-
- Backrest for pillion rider - Rs. 2,700/-
- Custom painted helmet - Rs. 2,590/-
- Single LED headlamp - Rs. 1,400/-
- Metal handgrips - Rs. 3,400/-
The customization package can be booked online, on the phone or at the Vardenchi Motorcycle Lounge (VML)​ in Mumbai.

What a beauty! The Orange and black colour combination look awesome. Its hard to believe its a RE which looks so transformed. The alloy wheels are mouth watering to start with!
The complete package looks professional and not a half-hearted effort.

RE should hire Vardenchi for styling their next models!
