Honda has launched a refreshed version of the Activa-i scooter in India.



The Activa-i is a unisex scooter that is available in Standard and Deluxe variants. The Standard variant gets new body graphics and comes in 4 colours – Black (new colour), Pearl Amazing White, Autumn Beige Metallic and Alpha Red Metallic.

The Deluxe variant gets floral graphics and is aimed at female riders. It comes in 2 new body colours – Pearl Amazing White and Orchid Purple Metallic.

The Activa-i is powered by a 109 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled petrol engine that produces 8 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 8.74 Nm of torque @ 5,500 rpm. The engine features Honda Eco technology (HET). The scooter also comes with a combi-braking system.

• Deluxe - Rs. 46,703

Liked the looks. IMO it will surely appeal the female riders. Only discouraging thing would be the cold response of the dealers and possibly the long waiting period.
