Re: Hero HF Deluxe and HF Deluxe ECO launched

Fail to understand why so much of product overlap and what is the intention of bring this out?

You already have a Splendor with almost same specs and features.
Heck!! even it looks so similar and at a similar price point as well(give or take a couple of '000s).
BTW, the bike doesnt look any different and will be lost in the sea of such Splendors and Pros and Passions and what not.
Yet, it will sell in the locations it is being targeted- the Rural India.

HF Deluxe is not a new motorcycle though, I believe this model just includes some body changes.

Eco model is new though. Will have to see if it picks up compared to HF Deluxe with the price difference for Rural India.

What's in the "ECO" model that makes it deserve the name?

I shouldn't have, but I went and checked the brochure. It has an aerofoil on the crash-guard, aero-styled rear view mirrors and low rolling friction tyres. That makes it Eco. I was hoping it at least had idle stop.

Clever marketing ploy! Eco model gets a 1ltr bigger tank compared to the deluxe and can claim to have more economy

Re: Hero HF Deluxe and HF Deluxe ECO launched

Gaadiwadi.com has managed to get the spy shots of 2016 Hero HF Delux Facelift.

Seems that the rider actually stopped the photographer for interrogation. Would be an interesting piece of information to know.

Re: Hero HF Deluxe and HF Deluxe ECO launched

It is sad to see how much Hero cares for its employees. The folks on the bike aren't even wearing riding pants and shoes. The person on the rear has an ill fitting jacket and some unsafe looking helmet. And am sure these folks do similar work everyday for long hours.

What is there to test, the engine looks pretty much to the existing ones (read as splendor). Or they are worried about the new stickering theme
