What's that other thing next to the fuel gauge? Is that a compass? Can't seem to figure out.

Man, my temptation is increasing with every spy shot that they release.

Also, anyone has an idea about the fuel tank capacity?

That could be a compass. I was told this by someone inside Pricol, their instrumentation vendor.

Altimeter or compass? Though I doubt it could be a compass. I wonder how will they keep the compass calibrated when the bike is twisting, turning, and leaning.

Or could they? It's RE after all

A Compass is of no use almost in a bike... Most likely it's a Altimeter.

Dont compasses automatically align themselves based on the poles as you keep moving? I doubt RE has had to do any R&D or engineering if they have added a compass.

I don't think it is a compass either.
If the picture is zoomed into, it can be noticed just the border of the meter has some lines and the center has a digital screen.
Highly doubt if they will offer a digital compass.

Why would anyone want to look at the compass when leaned over a turn?

A small spy video of the stripped down scrambler version in traffic.

Rear seat is so puny... unlike any of the photos we have seen.

I think it is looking puny because of the air bag worn by the test rider.

Looking at the two bikes in the photo series, I can't help wondering about the hub/axle/wheel sets and the rear carrier mount plate .....

re: Royal Enfield trademarks the name "Himalayan" EDIT: Now unveiled!

Came across a video clip with the bikes Exhaust note, shot by the same guy, shared by Motoroids.

Can't really compare it with any bike on the road these days. It sounds like a kitten's purr .

Quite audible exhaust note for a stock muffler.
Probably since it's a test bike.
