A bike ride has been organized in Chennai on Feb 8th to create awareness on road safety. The ride is going to be held from Marina Beach to Elliots Beach on Feb 8, 2015 between 6 AM and 10 AM.

Apparently, this has been initiated by a few enthusiastic bikers with necessary permission from the Government.

Registration Fee : INR 150 which includes goodies like backpack, stickers, refreshments and a certificate of participation.
We are expecting a registration of 600 bikes.
Registrations will be closed by January 15 2015


Ride description :

Everybody should wear Helmet, Shoes, Full trousers.
City speed limit to be maintained.
3 lane formation will be maintained
No bar for gender or number of bikes
Necessary permissions have been taken from the government who will provide enough assistance in terms of safety through out the ride.

Note for Riding clubs :
Please gear up from top to toe like how you go for rides which will create an awareness among the public.
Club Tshirts are advisable.
