Based on the spark plug condition you might want to retune your bike before fiddling with the jets?

PS: Suggest you to get the tuning sorted out before you upgrade the air filters.

I have not calculated the mileage yet, but looks like it should be within 20s, I had a pair of 8 series plugs and they were running cold, last time I checked the pugs, it was running rich. It idles now below 2k(1.5k) if I reduce the idle it will die.

The bottom end was rebuilt as well, its got new conrods and crank was reconditioned with newer bearings.

It does pull fine, but when I try to readline it in gears, its starts to flutter at 5k. I will post the plug pics, currently running 5 plug.

Update: Just made payment for the RDD analog CDI, Ron is making some RDD CDIs for pending orders, he just finished a Digital order, not building new ones anytime soon

He promised me an upgrade once the latest batch of digital CDIs are available.

That's one upgrade I am planning to do.

Well written blog on a rebuild which has been done putting your heart and soul into it. I can very well understand all the passion and emotion spilled here as I have been through all same phases around 1 year back. I waited a little longer than a decade to get my hands on a RD which can be built according to my taste which is nothing but next to stock condition outside and a beast inside. The hunt for the RD went so long as the market price kept increasing way higher than my salary hikes and it was a wonderful 1.5 years of experience exploring spare parts worldwide and rebuilding rest of it part by part just to get it back to full glory. Thanks mate! Thats a brand new US Spec seat which fell into my hands from eBay angel. Even the seller never posted it as a New one because he didn't have the factory box packing. She's running on RX CDI kit as of now which would be changed soon. I am just not getting time to go sit on the bike. By the way I have head your name countless times from many sources during my RD rebuild days. Currently the bike is lying at my place in Kerala. Let's meet once I bring it to Bangalore.

All good things mate . Rebuild was done by Ansar, City Motors from Cochin. He did the color matching and got it painted. The color has come out a tad lighter than the original shade under any direct light source. Porting and Head work was done by Team Carbon again from Cochin. Spares were mostly from Yambits. Decals were done again by Ansar except the "RAJDOOT" piece which I got cut by Attaullah.
