Rumour: Bajaj Auto readying refreshed Pulsar 150

Bajaj Auto could be in the process of giving Pulsar 150 a facelift. These upgrades will include some cosmetic changes and also improve the bike's riding dynamics.

The Pulsar 150 competes with bikes like the Hero Xtreme, Hunk and Achiever, Honda CB Unicorn and Trigger, and Yamaha Fazer, FZ16 and FZS. Hero will soon introduce an updated Xtreme, Suzuki about to launch the Gixxer and Mahindra working on a 160 cc bike. Bajaj needs to keep updating the Pulsar to remain competitive in the segment.

Bajaj Auto introduced the Pulsar 150 motorcycle in India in 2001. It was well-priced and had decent performance, which made it popular in the premium commuter segment. Over the years, the company has constantly given the bike technological and cosmetic updates. Its power output has gone up, new colours have been added and there have been changes to the body panels and instrument cluster.
