The plan is for dealers to receive stock in September. Launch will come from West Zone due to Ganesh and Navratri festivals.

Here is a look at the product brochure of the Hero Maestro Edge (Dash).

I just contacted my local Hero dealer Sales Representative (Fortpoint Mahim) and he told me that Maestro Edge and Dash will be delivered to customers in about 15 days.

This could be the upgrade to my current Maestro but I m a bit skeptical about the reliability of the engine and thus will wait for a year or so for long term reviews and my Maestro to get old enough.:D

The scooter looks a bit like the TVS Wego but it is a suitable scooter for youngsters. It has the features which I miss in my current Maestro (telescopic suspension, side stand indicator, pass switch). I also hope that the seat is excellent like the current Maestro so that is becomes a real successor to the current Maestro.

Also, the Duet looks good and it is targeted for the middle aged people segment. I hope Hero gets a good product of it's own!

^^^ It is same engine as that of Maestro, isn't it? If both are 110cc, it is not an upgrade, but rather a change. If possible, do look in 125cc space as well. Suzuki twins and Activa 125 form interesting options.
