Bang on CARDEEP! BSIII was introduced for 2W in October 2010, and is still on. I am unsure if 2015 October is the date for 2W's to move to BS IV. DO you have any news on this?
Your logic is absolutely straight forward, and considering that the majority of 2W's are on Carburetted engines which does not have active fuel trim control via an ECU, the chances of these engines to to misfire, burn rich, produce unburnt HC etc also exist much more than for a Euro III 4W.

The Hero Xtreme Sports has been spied ahead of its launch in December.

On a serious note, what is the government's stance on 2 wheelers running on Diesel?
Don't you think this will exponentially increase the consumption of Diesel?

I think that the Govt. will have no stand on 2-wheeler running on Diesel. This is because of open market economy and de-regulated prices of Diesel with no subsidy.

I am not a big fan of how the Dash looks from those pictures. But I should be able to see it in person first week of June, hopefully I can get some pictures too.

I read a news article a few weeks ago stating that Eric Buell Racing of US has filed for bankruptcy. So whatever "Hero moto" invested in EB is a pile of waste now. Sucks that they didn't do their due diligence before spending their money. Better yet try to develop those R&D capabilities in-house. Good luck to Hero now.

Two new scooters were announced for this year. Hero Duet, a 110cc scooter that will directly compete with Activa is expected to come later in the year. Maestro Edge is a 125cc version of the current Maestro scooter and is expected to come earlier than Duet.

The upcoming Maestro Edge scooter from Hero MotoCorp has been spotted at a dealership indicating that its launch is nearing.

The Maestro Edge is the production version of the Dash scooter that was displayed at the 2014 Auto Expo.

Where is that 150cc turbo diesel scooter?? no news about it after initial news.

Maestro Edge is supposed to be 125cc as per the announcement made at the dealer conference. So I doubt that is the production version of Dash. Duet should be the production version of Dash.

According to a trusted source, both the scooters are going to be launched pretty soon, although in a phased manner across India
