India Bike Week: 16th to 18th Jan, 2014

So its IBW (India Bike Week) time again and this time in the picturesque Goa. There's also a HOG (Harley Owners Group) Ride on the 16th. We i.e. our "Mutineers Motorcycling Club" from Meerut, U.P. is reaching there with 10 of its members along with our bikes, though we may not be riding all the way from Meerut (2000km!!).

So who all from our forum do we expect to meet there. Please post here so we can all meet up and have gala time together. Also put any other relevant information regarding the IBW here.

I shall be coming too with my group. We have Bullets, N 250s, Hayabusas, Intruders & a lone VFR1200. I shall be on my 390.

Has the location of IBW been finalised. I'm yet to book rooms in Goa and time is running out. Wanted to book somewhere close to the venue.

The hotel mentioned in the above leaflet is very close to the venue, 600m from Candolim beach, afaik.

Are there any options of transporting the bike back to mumbai.

Though I wont be a participant with any bike (I would love to pick some ABS equipped bike someday), I shall be visiting the venue tomorrow or the day after as a spectator, I live really close (walking distance) to this venue in Vagator and you may see me driving around in the locality in cars (2008 Sonata / 2009 Fabia) loudly/proudly proclaiming my T-BHP allegiance through stickers. I would love to meet you all, though I wonder how to identify BHPians as you won't be with your usual rides (cars) that sport T-BHP stickers.

Hi Guys, My friends at RushLane have been doing some good live coverage at http://www.rushlane.com/2014-india-b...-12103042.html

They are driving in Audi Q3 with a bunch of bikers having superbikes and the modified ones. Also noticed that they spied Pulsar 200cc on the way.

I am leaving for Goa day after tomorrow but seems like all the fun will be gone by then. I am getting jealous now. :(
