Today at company parking i noticed a red zmr. How ugly design it is.!!! Reminds me lml adreno.
"More power to ZMR!
The powerhouse of the new ZMR churns out 20 BHP of raw power, guaranteed to set your heart racing!
How many of your are eager to lay you hands on the new Above All machine?"
Says the Hero Motocorp Facebook page.
20 BHP. Almost matches the P220 in terms of power output.
Here's a picture. Like the old ZMR, this one is not Liquid Cooled, but Oil Cooled. This bike looks reasonable ONLY in the side view. The front is ruined by the Headlamp assembly and the rear by the entire rear. :Frustrati

Does anyone have any updates on the complete engine specs of the new Karizmas? I am more interested to know, whether they have reused old honda engines or they built new ones over those old engines or they have got completely new engines built by EBR.
Based on what i know, Hero brought new tech to market, called IBS (Intelligent braking system). i think, this is owned by Honda in CBS form. (Combined braking system.). Based on this, i think, they are reusing the same honda's engines by tweaking them where ever required.
In my opinion,
IN Looks department, Karizma failed for the first time in a decade :Frustrati

That is exactly right! They're using the same old 223cc block, but guess it was tweaked by EBR to get the power output up to 20.

hmmm.. in that case, wouldnt hero be voilating their contract with Honda? Hero can use honda's tech only till Dec 31 2013. Also, altering Honda's engines, will it be allowed ? Or did honda silently renewed their contract ?
What's the point of having this launch, if HeroMotor has developed new engines (100, 110 & 250 cc mills), & will launch the bikes with their own engines, & probably with new decals & marketing idioms in few months.
Hero MotoCorp Ltd. is rumoured to be launching the Splendor iSmart motorcycle on January 29, 2014. The bike has been equipped with i3S technology (Idle Stop-Start System), which automatically shuts the engine while idling and turns it on when the rider twists the throttle.

This is nothing but a Splendor NXG with a Low Cost Start Stop system (like in the Bolero/Scorpio Micro Hybrid). 3 tone colours for the bike:Shockked:. Who does that? Who needs that? Who will buy that?
Contrary to the reports that reap praise on the bikes stunning design that will inspire superbike like glances, I am positive that the bike is going to be laughed at with quite a few heads turning to see what the paint riot contraption is all about.
Buy hey, there's no such thing as bad publicity.clap:
I cannot believe what these people have done to such a legend. I was not a big fan of ZMR in the first place! (Put in a hideous fairing, put in EFI, raise the prices, leave the power output untouched... )
And, this they call a sports bike - Esp with the twin rear suspension? Pulsar 200 produces 25BHP off a 200cc engine, and this guy tuned by EBR makes 20BHP with EFI :-)
I am sure they'd price it terribly too. My blood boils when these contraptions sell and esp the rebranded vehicles with iSmart (or whatever) tech to increase FE.
I can't imagine one bike from their stable I am proud to show off. I'd hate to be their CEO.
Hero Motocorp has launched the Splendor iSmart motorcycle with i3S technology at a price of Rs. 47,250 (ex-showroom Delhi).
