There is nothing in there that should be able to rattle, can you tighten the bolts a bit and see if it makes any difference. The bottom chrome bit is mounted by two bolts underneath the exhaust. If that doesn't help you'll need to go to a workshop or service station.

Bought it an year ago from Aliexpress, along with tank traction pads and MRA replica visor.
I've connected the charger to the accessory wires provided in the headlamp unit. Works fine, does the job; I'm happy.

If you are talking about the tick-tick sound coming from the exhaust after switching off the bike, it is just the metal inside cat-con cooling down and contracting.

i checked the bolts and they seem tight, no loose nuts nothing.I will take the bike to service centre on tuesday.Thanks.

Its not the ticking sound.The sound comes when the bike is in idle or during riding the bike.The sound seems to be coming from the bottom of the silencer when checked today evening.

It is from the catalytic converter, a couple of my friends had this issue and the black box was replaced as it was in warranty. Get in touch with the SVC and press for the replacement.

Did they replace the whole silencer or only the black box in warranty ? I feel whole silencer replacement would feel better in the long run.

It was only the black box, the other side is just fine. Since this is a closed and sealed part, and with no repairs are possible, the black box was replaced.

A friend doing Ladakh this season from Delhi just got these fitted on his bike.

Nice looking shoes. One question, does the front tyre scrape the mudguard? Ask his take on this setup vis a vis Metz.

It's not scraping the mudguard yet. Running fine as of now.

Regarding Metz, I'm waiting for him to ride on the new shoes for a few days before I ask him. I myself will be riding it this weekend or next and shall post my opinion as well.

Did the sirac have to be flipped over? I think it's actually a rear application, hence the question

Also, the meteor - is it a 100 section? If so, it's definitely pushing the boundaries of how skinny you can go on a rim designed to take a 150 section

Finally - do you know where he sourced these from?

My Duke almost ready to rock the Zenskar roads. clap:

Front : Michelin Sirac 100/90/17 = 1900

Front mudguard is scraping so removed and tried some off road mudguard however no use as it fits on single clip and come down from front and hit badly on tyre on full suspension travel. Wasted 700 Rs on this mudguard and removed in single day. Used the drawing sent by Uday (unk9ja) and it did a fantastic job in just 100 Rs.

Rear : CEAT Vertigo Rage 130/80/17 = 3250

Initial impression is the I am not feeling any difference except I can go must fast on bad roads now. Have been used in city till now so can't comment however have touched 90 on open stretch and no change in braking.

Could you please share with me the drawing you mentioned for the front off road mudguard? I literally used the same one on my Duke 200 and it broke on the first full suspension travel.

Could you please send me the drawing too. Uday is in Bangalore and we have someone we know in common so I will reach out to him as well, as I might be doing this for another bike and not the Duke.

No, they were fitted normally and were a direct fit. No flipping.

The front is stock. The rear is 140/70.

They were sourced from Globe Engineering, Carol Bagh. :D
