Btw, the bike starts and runs well, just the charging bit needs to be sorted. I'm told there is no space for a larger unit and was suggested I switch to a 6 volt battery instead. Need to do some more research before getting hands dirty.

Also trying to source missing parts now.. hope to get hold of them all soon
Hey Brian,

Did you get this bike from some bloke in Hanumanthnagar area? I have seen this running around there around a year ago.

Re: Restoration Project: '96 Yezdi 350 Twin

Sadly though I completed the rebuild and started the bike after about an hour of running one of the cylinder liners "peeled" and broke a piston. Am still in search of a good set of Barrels and pistons and rings.....

Re: Restoration Project: '96 Yezdi 350 Twin

Hello Collector,

I have just bought a Yezdi 350 Twin today! Still haven't unpacked it completely, nor started it yet.

Even though I'm excited at having bought it, now the real trepidations start - have to get on with the restoration work!

Were you ever able to get that wiring diagram?
Also, where were you sourcing your parts from? I know I will need an instrument cluster and the switch console on the left side of the handle bars (for headlights, turn signals and horn etc), indicators and a headlight.

Would love to hear from you....

In the stables:
Yezdi 350 Twin (needs restoration)
CL2 (Completely restored to original)
RoadKing (Unrestored, original factory bike)
175 (Unrestored, original factory bike)
1974 Flowerhead (undecided what to do with it)

In the pipeline (dreams):
Oilking
Monarch
Colt
Jet
