It is actually Honda. Honda's share dropped by around 5%, TVS by 2% and Hero gained these 7%.

Honda says that it can't match the requirements hence its share dropped.

Quit Rimula. Its rotten. Even for a tractor. Its not a 'piece of cake' with that one.

Rimula has been serving me good so far. I used R3X and then R4. Engine knocking that used to happen with thinner oils (read xW30) have disappeared completely. Being mineral, it should not be stretched beyond 2k kms.

re: My Karizma ZMR. EDIT: 100,000 km up!

I'm looking for a headlight upgrade for my 3-year old ZMR, without installing any additional relays. I want a natural white light (not bluish white) with good throw on road, without sacrificing on bulb life. What will be a better option among Osram nightbreaker / Philips xtreme vision 55 / 60 W H4?

Sorry brother for being extremely late in replying.
I haven't updated this thread myself for a loooong time. My bad.

Regarding your query - I've been using Osram NB for 2 years now without ANY mods (relay/wire etc) without any issues.

Update - About to complete 3 years on 9th Jan. Shall put my long term ownership report soon. ODO currently 38xxx kms.

Do you still use Shell Rimula R4? I haven't been able to source it in 1 litre pack, only Shell AX7 is available in 1 litre pack.

And at what interval do you change oil filter?

Yes. In fact I keep shuffling between AX7 and R4. R4 is available in 1 L cans here. Once, I had to buy a 3L bottle due to unavailability of the smaller bottle.

Karizma ZMR does "not" have a separate oil filter. Its just a metal strainer that sits behind the engine oil drain bolt and that gets cleaned during every oil change.

Thanks for reminding me of this thread. My bad, I completely forgot about it.
The bike has done 90,500+ km as of now.

Woah.. That's an amazing statistic. Shows the bulletproof reliability of a Honda engine!

Divya, first of all, congrats for your Punto Evo and bigger congrats for completing 90000+ kms!!!

You and I were probably the only people in this forum to own a ZMR! My ZMR is long gone, never felt a connect with it so sold it at the first opportunity I got. But without any doubts I can say that it was a brilliant bike, probably the best Hero(Honda) and did everything it was supposed to do, really really well. I'm happy to see the odo reading on your bike and hope you enjoy it for many more miles to come.

You can join us on our weekend rides if you like!

Thanks a lot! Yes I feel the Karizma twins (pre facelift) were amongst the best offerings in terms of reliability from Hero stable.
It has been serving me well so far, be it the potholed crazy Bangalore roads or the highways.
I would love to join you guys sometime for a ride.

re: My Karizma ZMR. EDIT: 100,000 km up!

I am planning to sell my Pulsar 150 and buy a used karizma (a pre 2014 Hero Honda make), what will be your suggestion regarding this mate. I will be using the bike only for long travels at weekends and mostly will not run during weekdays. Can I go for a used karizma?

Re: My Karizma ZMR. EDIT: 100,000 km up!

I have a problem where I get a clicking noise from the engine for a few seconds after I start in the morning and after that it reduces. What could be the problem? Any help will be great.
My ZMR has run 68000kms
