Yamaha FAZER headlight for Yamaha FZ-S

I'm having 4 months old Yamaha FZ-S.
Its having naked type triangular headlight & I want to Install Yamaha FAZER's twin eyed headlamp on it.

Is its possible ??

As per YASC guys its possible but the total incurred will be ~Rs.12,000.

-Have anyone here tried it ?? or anybody knows that its a possible option with incurring lesser costs as quoted by YASC guys.

-Will it be as reliable as the FAZER's after Installation ?

-Does it can void the Insurance policy of the bike, being a mod ?

Guys, please share your answers, ASAP.

I think it should be possible given that there is very minor difference in these two models. Unless ofcourse there is some sort of welding required, in which case I would advice to stay away form such a mod.

One can only about costs, if you know the exact list of components which need to be changed, once you have that you can find out individual components cost & that should give you a real picture for the total cost sans the labor cost.

As for reliability, any after market fitments reliability of depend on two things, Quality of Parts & quality of Labor.

Any MOD done would void the warranty but usually I would suspect that maybe they would pay if the bike has damage other than the modded part, you surely wont get paid if a damage happens to the New Headlights.

A testimony for "Nothing is impossible". Just be sure about the dimensions and orientation while you perform this mod.

Take care if there is welding involved around the head stock, you don't want the bearing recesses getting too hot.
