Happy biking!
Thanks saitvsk. Good to know there’s someone reliable enough to work on the Cbr. Will give it a try the next time.

Re: Honda CBR 250R : Answers to some commonly asked questions

Hello everybody, I have a 2017 BS 3 CBR 250R. Everything was fine till last June. Suddenly, one day I noticed that the radiator fan was running even after I had switched off the bike and even after having locked the handle. I was in a hurry, so chose to ignore it. Then, after 4-5 hours, the bike won’t even turn on as the battery had been completely discharged. Then, the next day charged the battery outside and restarted the bike. This time the radiator fan wouldn’t turn on even the coolant temperature reached 4-5 bars. Was planning to take it to the ASC the next day, but unfortunately the issue again reappeared. The bike was completely dead, no electrical activity, even though I had charged the battery recently. The battery was also only 1 month old.

Now the ASC took 9 days and now they are saying to change the engine power module, some relays. They are quoting ₹12,000 for it. ₹10,000 for the power module only.

Can someone please help. Has anyone faced similar issue?

Also, any reliable CBR mechanic in the Delhi NCR region? I would like a second opinion.

Thank you in advance

Re: Honda CBR 250R : Answers to some commonly asked questions

It's clearly an issue with electrical in the wiring harness. I can help you here in Chennai or Bangalore, not sure who can be reliable at DL. Sure it costs Rs 10K for ECM; fan relays wouldn't cost so much, if conked.
