re: Suzuki Inazuma 250cc launched. *UPDATE* Price slashed by 1 lakh!

This design looks dated and definitely not a head turner. Looks like a souped up FZ-16 with crazy headlights )
May be 2 years ago at 2L this would have sold like hot cakes... donno how many they will sell if they bring it in 6 months from now.

I think it was quite clear to what Daewood was referring to.

If it ever gets launched, saved for initial flurry of purchase and Suzuki lovers hoarding the showrooms, I doubt it will sell much.

For 250's it can't get better than the CBR and Ninja. What this has is naked looks and that is it. Though you can make the CBR naked Suzuki Inazuma 250cc launched. *UPDATE* Price slashed by 1 lakh!-img_0470.jpg but you can't make this Suzkuki faired.

Looks part is very subjective and goes down to individual person. Some like to be flashy ,some like it to be simple and some just functional and reliable .

PS : This sounds like cricketer inzamam ul haq
No offence - People even call Corolla boring - not that it is incapable at at all. Just that Unicorn doesn't tend to excite the senses and is more clinical in its approach than anything else

Not to go off-topic - This bike looks terrible and overweight, its twin-cylinder 26 BHP notwithstanding. Priced over CBR, with similar power output, it is doomed from the start.

re: Suzuki Inazuma 250cc launched. *UPDATE* Price slashed by 1 lakh!

Suzuki will launch the GW250 (also known as Inazuma 250) in India in the second half of 2013. The Japanese automaker has been toying with the idea of launching a quarter-litre motorcycle since quite some time now, but with most manufacturers deciding to bring one, Suzuki too has made concrete its plans. The above photo of Salman Khan riding the Suzuki GW250 in Lavasa only confirms the impeding launch. Mr. Khan is the brand ambassador for Suzuki and was seen riding the GW250 on the sets of his upcoming movie ‘Mental’.

Suzuki makes some superb bikes, the current GS150R is a wonderful example. I have been waiting for this 250CC for long. Let's hope this turns up in India this year.

I absolutely agree with you on this one. The Duke 200 trumps this bike on all fronts, and is absolute VFM in comparison to this bike.

No offense to anyone who might be a fan of this bike, but I think for a Twin Cylinder, they should have squeezed some more power out of it.

re: Suzuki Inazuma 250cc launched. *UPDATE* Price slashed by 1 lakh!

Adding aftermarket slip-on or full system exhausts on this is going to be an expensive affair, considering it is equipped with one pipe on each side of the bike.

I'm wondering how big are the benefits of a 2x1x2 exhaust system on this motor.

re: Suzuki Inazuma 250cc launched. *UPDATE* Price slashed by 1 lakh!

I found a site that compares Honda CBR250 with this Suzuki GW250. Especially found the following image helpful:

re: Suzuki Inazuma 250cc launched. *UPDATE* Price slashed by 1 lakh!

Thanks ani_mehr

I am reading this right? Despite being a twin cylinder, 4v and having higher compression, the Suzuki makes less power & torque and revs no higher?? 10 kgs heavier too :(

Baffling !!

Suzuki Inazuma 250 spotted during shoot in Goa

The Suzuki Inazuma 250, which will go on sale here later this year was spotted during a commercial shoot in Goa. The pictures were uploaded on the Facebook page of GEARS. The Inazuma is a 250 cc parallel twin that is made in China. The bike is said to be the spiritual successor to Suzuki's old GS500 twin. Despite being made in China, quality and finish seems to be up to Suzuki's usual standards, as borne out by the images. While the official India spec figures are not out yet, power output is expected to hover around the 24 BHP mark. The long stroke motor is torquey and coupled with a 6 speed gearbox, should see the motorcycle at home in the city and on the highway (ABS not available though).

the bike looks little longer, is that only me?
what way v-twin helps, Honda achieved the same numbers with single cylinder.
This make costlier.

No. The wheelbase is longer, by 60mm as per this post

Maybe a USP. Or maybe its an old tech, an old design. I am not sure...

Seems few mags/portals have got hold of this bike for a spin. Reviews are already out.
