Thanks for all the inputs when I was deciding on the bike - especially you mantrig. Will keep posted on the ride experience!
Good going!!!

Finally, we will have you contributing with your experiences as you pile on the kms on you ride. I am sure you we will see you less on forums for sometime while you are trying to relish the wheels.

Also, I would recommend you add you ownership review on the Santosh's Aka RK_Sans thread (recommended as you guys are from the same city) or my thread (you are welcome by both of us equally).

Ride safe & Ride hard (after 1st service)!!!

Re: Honda CBR 250R - Initial Ownership Review

Had planned to get the R15 V2, but the pricing made me casually look at CBR's prices & found it to be affordable without breaking the bank.

Have booked in Silver, a non-ABS. Hope to get by 15th October.

Re: Honda CBR 250R - Initial Ownership Review

Congrats Sheel, TAT between booking and delivery seems to very low, just about half a month, while people waited real long for their CBRs. Has the supply streamlined all across or its region specific? Or just like Bunny you too are pulling some right strings.

PS: It might be stale piece of news but fellow Bhpian Bunny punia also got one delivered few days back.

Thanks

I am waiting for a silver CBR. Red and black are at the showroom, though claimed to be a customer's bike, but when you walk in with 1,54,xxx in cash, they would be more than obliged to hand over any of the CBR's standing over.

Re: Honda CBR 250R - Initial Ownership Review

I am glad that I got the bike, it is a real tourer - perfect for long rides on highway. It can cruise comfortably at 100-120 kmph and stable at those speeds.
I just came back from a ride to Horsley hills (around 450 kms) and there is no strain at all.

Amazing photographs there. Is the RJays a perfect fit?

And yes, lean a bit more, let those chicken strips go.

Yes, Rjays is a perfect fit.

Whenever I think about trying to lean in a curve, I get reminded about the spare parts support by Honda . To be honest, I am an amateur in the leaning department.

I have been waiting for more than 2 months for an alloy wheel; not an issue for riding as it is a very small bend at the lip.

Honda spares are legendary & PITA to procure.

Log in more miles & if possible, go to a track school, should work wonders.

I am going to the two day track event by TWO ONE Racing in Coimbatore on October 15th; intend to take it easy initially.

As you said, I am getting more confident with the bike as I clock more miles.

The pics are spellbounding. I am really Jealous with you over the fact that I have not been able to clock even 1k kms yet on the 3 month old bike till date, first the rains and now some personal issues have taken over weekends. Miss the Bangalore locales and nearby drives as well.

I agree with you about getting into corners on the ceeber, one being an amateur myself and two - the CBR not being one of the most comfortable rides to bend into a corner; I find her best only in straightline drags.

Between, how much did the RJays bike-pack cost ? (Sorry if you have mentioned somewhere before that I missed)

PatienceWins, nice pics! and comforting to know that you were not strained by the posture etc..

Can the Rjays fit the laptop? i may have to do some travelling and was wondering if i can find a bag wich can fit laptop and some cloths, any suggestions here?

And spares wise seems like Honda competing with Fiat?? hehe is Honda improving or still the same spares wise?

Congratulations mate, she does look good in the black. How well she holds her shade without showing signs of fade/age? So it appears that quite a lot of people are heading from Bangy to Coimbatore for the track. Hopefully will bump into you there

Ride Safe.

While PW answers your question on Rjays, check out Cortech in the meanwhile. rk_sans has one and he carries his office stuff including laptop.

Jay, Do you think its a wise idea to carry a laptop in the tail bag? My hunch is that due to bumpy ride the hard drive will get damaged quite easily.

Lohith, Actually found the Cortech to be more of a snug fit on the baby ceeber. Suggest you to have a check with Santosh.
