Not sure if I read that correctly, did you say "cheaper" than THE Ninja 250R thats currently selling for around 3 Lacs OTR?

That's what I was wondering and 650 twin with 75 BHP under 3L(even at 4L) will kill the whole segment of performance bikes. I know its all dream and not going to happen, lets wait and watch.

Arey baba, where does these news come from? and are we so foolish to accept the fact that a 600 cc bike will be cheaper than a 250? lets just get down from our unicorns and come out of our fairy tale. the ninja would be retailed at 6 L. According to an insider from bajaj R&D.

The 650 is said to have 'killer' pricing, but it ain't going to killer enough to kill its own sibling the N250R. Expect anything from 5.5-6.5 realistically speaking.

In the last para ACI report reads - "Bajaj Auto is also learnt to be developing its own version of a 'superbike', which will be part of the Pulsar family". There is definitely something cooking at Bajaj, but, it need not be P500, but an improved P250 IMO.

No news about the P500, but, an article on refreshed Pulsar lineup, courtesy BSM:

New frame, new styling, KTM bits and pieces, Bajaj price tag : Perfect recipe for a blockbuster hit in the market, just like the original Pulsar.
Good to know like the original twins, they are going to keep things simple and have just two engine variants.

Dont want to start undue speculation here, but I saw something very interesting undergoing testing on my way to work today.

- Looks like a cross between a Yamaha FZ and KTM duke.
- Smaller than the existing Pulsar OR the FZ.
- Monoshock rear.
- High visibility tapes pasted on some of the panels.
- More upright a stance than existing Pulsar or FZ.

Rider was going in the opposite side on NH4 wearing an orange jacket, almost the colour of a high visibility jacket. No pics as I was in the company bus.
