Isle of Man TT Docu-series & film coming soon; By Brad Pitt, Channing Tatum's production companies

According to a media report, the Isle of Man TT is set to get its very own docuseries titled "The Greatest Race on Earth", as well as a yet-to-be-named feature film. Both of which will revolve around the 2024 Isle of Man TT races.

The docuseries and the film will be created by the production companies of Brad Pitt (Plan B Entertainment) & Channing Tatum (Free Association) in collaboration with Box To Box Films - the group behind Netflix's 'Drive To Survive' series, based on Formula 1. The two production houses of the Hollywood superstars already have experience, having created the MotoGP movie - Hitting the Apex.

The filming is said to have already begun with the free practice sessions of the 2024 TT. The series is said to include a number of personalities and also explore various storylines from this year's races.

James Gay-Rees, Producer of Box To Box Films, stated, "It’s a great privilege to be working with these partners on this extremely unique project." He further mentioned, "The Isle of Man TT is one of the most visceral, exhilarating and unusual events in the motorsport diary. We can’t wait to bring this incredible world to new audiences."

Channing Tatum added to this by stating, "We dare anyone to find more awe-inspiring people or a more breathtakingly vibrant world than The Isle of Man TT." Tatum added, "We’ve always been drawn to characters who push the edge of what’s possible, and this race is their Shangri-La. We’re deeply honoured to be part of the creative dream team telling the story of this legendary event, and can’t wait to finally share this mythical sport we love with audiences all across the globe."

While the exact date is yet to be announced, distribution of the series is scheduled to take place sometime in 2025.

Details of the feature film are yet to be revealed. Reports though suggest that the film project will be under the helm of Jason Keller, who scripted the 'Ford V Ferrari' movie.
