John Abraham is an enthusiast himself and closely follows MotoGP. He will be promoting the sport in India through the 'MotoGP, Race Lagate Hai' campaign.

MotoGP races are aired live on Eurosport India. The co-presenting sponsor for the broadcast is the Yamaha R15.

Besides MotoGP, Eurosport India also telecasts the FIA Formula 2 championship, W Series, Nascar, Indycar Series and Bennetts British Superbike racing.

Eurosport India and Discovery+ have the live and exclusive broadcasting rights for Moto2, Moto3 and MotoGP in India.

Remember him spearheading the pre, mid and post game discussion during the 2014 Football World cup. Soon everybody realized how expert he was on the subject and was slowly moved out since all he did was browse his phone while others talked. Hope this doesn't go the same way.

Alternate title:
"Yamaha ask their brand ambassador to promote MotoGP in the hope of increasing their R15 sales, when they finally have a chance at winning the MotoGP title after freaking ages, albeit with a thoroughly dislikeable rider"

And Eurosport has nothing to lose in this, only gain, as even if one viewer starts watching MotoGP after John puts out a post every weekend on his Instagram, that's still a viewer gained for the channel.

Eurosport is seriously annoying. Their placement of R15 ads gets on my nerves. The commentators may be talking about grid positions or tire selection or Simon may be interviewing someone interesting on the grid, but no, Eurosport doesn't give a damn about all that. All it cares about is a Yamaha R15 going around the Sepang circuit. Probably next time we will see John on the screen telling us 'Race lagate hain' while sitting on a Yamaha R15.

I do see free practices on BT Sport, and there is no ad placement at all. That's how broadcasting should be done.

You should watch Formula 1 on Star Sports, the ads are so irritating it gets on my nerves, with TVS Apache RR310 and Nissan Magnite ads, it used to be either one of the ads earlier, since the season has gained interest, now it's both together for at least a minute.

A MINUTE IS A DECADE IN FORMULA 1!!!
