The noise did increase a bit after i put the exhaust...but when i installed the intercooler....the noise level reduced back to normal.
On the upside performance wise this car can hold its own against the scorp....safari....endevour :-)
on the downside...the warranty is totally void :-(
Iv noticed that the ride is a lot smoother after installing the intercooler...i dunno why the GM guys dont put an intercooler in the stock version?

the k&n filter along with the piping would cost about Rs7000-Rs8000
the free flow exhaust would cost about Rs Rs6000-Rs1000 depending on the size.
When installing the K&N filter make sure that the piping is chrome as it will not rust

Rags

Hi Rags,

I have not done any modifications to my Peugeot.

Its stock and the pickup is great compared to any other diesel of its period. After the suggestions in this thread, i did get the pump re-worked for performance. This did give me a great pickup. But no figures available.

Sadly, I suddenly decided to sell my peugeot and no longer own one

Hi,

The prices quoted by you are way too high for the filter unless you are referring to the Typhoon kit..

Hi

I own Scorpio DX (Non CRDE), and just reading this thread for improving the performance. Is there anything by which the Fuel Mileage is increased?

Is there any harm in using the addictive fuel like Speed Diesel by BP, Power Diesel by HP and Extra Mile Diesel by IOC?

I also notice that if I can use the addictive fuel, the engine vibrator lesser, then compared to the normal diesel?
