Re: Car Vacuum Cleaner

After some searching and review-scouting, I finally ordered the Bergmann Cyclonic 2-in-1 Vacuum Cleaner + Inflator, sold by a seller named theWinkel on Amazon India. I received it and opened the package eagerly.
To my dismay, the Crevice nozzle attachment was missing from the package! Without this tool, the vacuum cleaner is of almost no use for me.
I have requested for a return with refund. Thinking of ordering it again, maybe from another seller.

Re: Car Vacuum Cleaner

I am using Bergmann since the last 3 years and it's easily the best car vac ever made !! You should call the Bergmann Customer Service or the Seller and I'm sure they would send you the nozzle seperately.

I received the second order today and mysteriously the same crevice nozzle attachment was missing!
This time I have contacted the seller and am expecting to get the part sent to me separately.

Hi there. Hope you could get a replacement for the product. I was thinking of buying the same for my car.

Was apprehensive that the fan in the blower would not be able to pump up a tyre to the pressure of say 40 psi. How has you experience been with the product?

Hi,
The issue was resolved when, after a round of replacement, both me and the vendor realized that the 'missing' nozzle was actually placed inside another one .
I am yet to use it for tyre inflation purpose because of the same apprehension. For cleaning purpose, it does a pretty decent job.

Re: Car Vacuum Cleaner

Received Burgmann Hurricane vacuum cleaner from Amazon, got to say very disappointed with the performance. The suction power decreased so much after just 2 minutes of use soon after unpacking. Thought it might be due to clogged HEPA filter. So cleaned the HEPA filter under running water with a toothbrush, saw a marginal improvement in performance after that. Their claim that is can pick up a 500g object seems absurd, it can't even pick up a 100ml sanitizer bottle.

Re: Car Vacuum Cleaner

Hi

Has anyone tried out this one from iGrid?

https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B07...5R8C0QD8&psc=1

Dumb Question - but can a car vacuum cleaner like this be used at home (considering that the power source is the 12V cigarette lighter point)?

Thanks!

Re: Car Vacuum Cleaner

I gave up on car vacuum cleaners after buying and returning el cheapo products on Amazon. Even the highly rated cleaners were not up to what I was expecting them to do.

In the meanwhile we were looking for a vacuum for home use. Our old Inalsa vacuum for home is EXTREMELY noisy from day 1 and mom hates using it. For all the noise it generates, suction is strictly okay. So bit the bullet on Karcher WD3 EU 17l 1000w vacuum cleaner for home. Has good attachments and suction is incredible.
Now, instead of forcing car vacuum cleaners in the crevices and hard to reach areas under seat, I just wave the long attachments of Karcher in general direction of the dust and poof, it sucks it in.
It quite simply turned out to be the best car vacuum cleaner I ever had even though it is not (a car vacuum cleaner). The main handle part of the pipe is curved like gas station fuel nozzle - very handy. The blower is super powerful and blows the competition out of the water. Best part, you don't have to remove the filter to suck in water. This comparison is against our old Inalsa 1400w VC. The 1000w motor in Karcher is distinctly more effective at suction than the 1400w in Inalsa. Highly recommended if you don't live in a high rise or park the car out on the streets.

TUSA Wireless Handheld Vacuum Cleaner

This post might read like an ad for the product, I don't work for them, I am just that impressed with it.

Website says they're based in Hyderabad. Attention to detail is what I want to cover here. Refer to their site/Youtube for the rest.

1. Hold the filter under running water and the dirt clears off in just a few seconds.
2. Can be charged using car's 12V or AC adaptor at home.
3. Grip on the socket and charging pins.
4. While they say car only, it does your house also very well.
5. Warranty duration & assurance from the vendor(time will tell)
6. Toll free - Did a test call - A human picked up, not IVRS and they were ready to serve me.
7. Bag with a handle and the complete set fits in well.

Re: Car Vacuum Cleaner

After trying multiple portable vacuum cleaners I finally moved to a Dyson. Here are my initial impressions using the V8 Absolute Plus model.

What makes this particularly interesting is that this is perfect for cleaning the interiors of my car. I know these are a lot more expensive compared to the vacuums made for cars, but the power, convenience and efficiency are at the levels you expect from a corded vac.

I was so mighty impressed with the V8 that I upgraded myself to a V11 shortly thereafter. (The old one went to a relative)

Re: Car Vacuum Cleaner

Hi Dr. Chinchu C,

Further on the Bergmann Cyclone 2-in-1 device you got, would you like to share any feedback on the tyre inflator function, if you were able to try it out etc

Hi,
Sorry I have not used the inflator function yet.
There is a tyre repair guy opposite to our home. I had thought of taking the vacuum cleaner to him, and then try it there, in case something goes wrong. But again held myself back, afraid of pissing him off

Re: Car Vacuum Cleaner

Can anyone please suggest a good 12V car vacuum cleaner that cleans the vehicle effectively. I have already seen a few products on Amazon but don't know which one to buy. Please suggest some tried and tested products. Thanks.

What is the power rating of the 12V socket in your car? Most cars have a 180W socket but Maruti provides only 120W socket. Keep that in mind while buying.

I have a Bergmann vaccum cleaner. It does a decent job (atleast no other 12V vaccum cleaner is better than it). The issue is that these 12V vaccum cleaners are average by themselves. The suction pressure generated by them is mediocre owing to the limited power they can draw from the car’s 12V socket. A 220V home vaccum cleaner will do a much better job on most part of seats and carpet.

If you want a 12V vaccum cleaner, I consider Bergmann to be very decent and appropriately priced.
