All LED's wattage figures are not the actual power draw but halogen equivalent. So if the LED box says 100w, its brightness is equal to 4x25 watt halogen. You are good to go there, as LED's generally have a much lesser wattage requirement compared to halogens.

Thanks for the response. The new bulb is not LED. It's halogen. I have a reflector set up for fog lamps so did not want to change to LEDs. That's why I was confused whether my wiring can handle such a difference in watts.

I received my 4200K 50W Osram LEDriving HL Premium H11 headlights delivered to me yesterday after ordering them on 16-July. Fixed them today myself on my Honda City 2014 reflector head lamps in low-beam and am quite happy with the results.

The first photo is with LEDs fitted on the left side (seeing from the front) and halogen on the right.

The visibility has also improved quite a lot as you can see from the pics below.

Though it costs Rs. 6900, it makes a considerable difference to the visibility and hence i think it is a worthy investment in the vehicle if it does give a life of 30,000 hours as is expected out of it.

Hey outdoorlover . I also have a 2016 Honda city and am looking to swap out the stock halogens after 8 years (idk how they survived that long) just saw your post and wanted to know how the osrams are performing now?

I was looking at these exact ones you have installed on Amazon for 4.5k , can you say they are worth it after your year+ of use?

Also was it easy or hard to DIY? I plan to change them myself but have never don’t it previously. Did you have to adjust/aim/align them before use to ensure proper through? If yes I would appreciate if you can make a comment on that.

Thanks in advance :)

I need to get fog lights installed on my 6-month old Tata Punch. Two different ASS (at Bhubaneswar during 1st service and at Bangalore during 2nd service) have expressed their inability to install them, and directed me to local shops. I am seeking suggestions for a reliable accessories shop around the Sarjapur Road area. Any suggestions, please?

Question for those that have switched to LED lights, what would happen if you tint the light housing a bit yellow (even if you have white LEDs), would it help with visibility as it would change the colour temprature by a little?
(Asking this because I'm curious)

Hi all,

I am looking for a solution which has a good 'throw' and brightens the dark area.

Kindly suggest. Also can changing lights void the warranty? Any recommendations in BLR on who does a good job are welcome.

TIA

I also have the Taigun GT plus and I agree that the headlights are not good enough for highway drives. The projector that comes with Taigun is sealed one and can’t be changed. Also any changes to the headlight would void the warranty.

So I would suggest you can upgrade the fog lights and this can give you some good throw but for the near distance. However I am quite happy after upgrading the fog lamps even on highwaysand would recommend to try that first. Here is the link from where I have ordered -

Select H8 in that option.

Hope this helps.

Please recommend headlight bulbs for Ford Fiesta 2010 1.4 TDCI, Currently have OSRAM Nighbreaker plus.

Thank you for sharing your input. Can you please share a video/photo of the new lights on the road?

Thanks in advance.
