Hi,

This question would have been asked number of times. I'm aking again & need a suggestion:
I want to replace my Optra Royale's company fitted lights (including fog lamps) with a white light. I don't wanna go with the cheaper version.
1. Whats the recommendation?
2. What various options do I've along with their prices?
3. Any contact person in Gurgaon?
4. What do you think about HID kit from Bosch or Hella? Hos good & whats the cost?

Thanks,
Vik

it depends which car its for. if its for a civic then just low beam will be fine. but make sure you change your high beam to a white bulb also.

is it possible to fit HID's for low beam and white lights for high beams? I mean how could 2 diff set of bulbs be installed in the same headlight assembly.

thanks man. I was always confused as I had put 100/90 in my accent and thought of putting HID in my Optra. But as there are 2 different set of bulbs in each of the headlight assembly I was always keeping myself back cauz of the cost factor.
Now please guide me if I put HID low beam in place of one set of bulb and normal 100/90 in lieu the high beam, and as we know the normal bulb has both the high and low beam. What will happen when I am driving on the low beam? Will only the HID glow or the low beam on the 100/90 will also glow. Please advise?

for your optra the low beams are of bulb size H7. get HIDS for these. you will get decent quality HIDs for around 6-10k. for your high beam of bulb size H1 get philips crystalvision, bluevision or diamond vision whichever matches with the HIDs that you buy. make sure you get 6000k HIDs.

Thanks for the info. Will I need to attach a relay along with the philips H1 bulbs? I understand that HID come with complete packing and there is no need to attach any relays etc

the HIDs come with everything. if you go for 100/90w H1 bulbs then you will need a relay and cutout. and remember only buy 600k HIDs. 8000k and 10000k are less bright.
